Taytayeños celebrate their annual feast with the intensified 2015 PTT Motocross Challenge on Feb 13-15 at Mx Messiah Fairgrounds. “We are excited with the upcoming race. Aside from witnessing the return of motocross in Taytay, we are looking forward to see the new riders of MMF Academy,” said CEO Samuel Mark Tamayo of Xtreme Adrenaline Sports Entertainment Co.
“We will be having a moto clinic for aspiring motocross riders, a pit party for sponsors, riders and spectators, and a motorcade around Taytay,” added Tamayo. Multi-titled Glen Aguilar and rising moto star Jacob Orbe are expected to intensify the Pro Open Production moto 1 and moto 2. Also to arrive in the event are the Gabriels, Pia and Ompong, for the kids 65cc, kids 85cc and ladies class.
Other pro categories are pro lites and pro veterans class as the race track will also be open to amateur categories such as beginners, novice, executive and kids 50cc. The race sponsored by PTT Philippines Corporation will be giving away cash prizes to the winners of each category. The champion in the pro open production will bring home a total of Php 20,000.00 cash as racers who will garner second to sixth place will receive Php 14,000.00, Php 10,000.00, Php 6,000.00, Php 4,000.00 and Php 2,000.00, respectively. Seventh to tenth placer will bag Php 1,000.00 each.
Meanwhile, Yamaha Motor Philippines will lend ten moto bikes of Yamaha XTV 125 and Yamaha PW 59 class for the Yamaha One Make Race. Registration will start on February 13. Fees for amateur categories will cost Php 300.00 as pro categories are at Php 500.00. Participants of the Yamaha One Make Race will need to register at Php 500.00.
